Saying goodbye

One of my mom's former camellias. She loved them so much. I'm trying to preserve them in photos since we will be selling the house and I won't ever see them bloom again.

This slow goodbye to my parent's home and way of life is one of the saddest things I've ever done.

Don't misunderstand this post.  It isn't meant to be depressing.  Grief is a road that has to be traveled at times and I'm on that journey.   This road will end and another will begin.
Everything is exactly as it is supposed to be.

  1. I love the shots and the flowers themselves.
    Who can say
    Where the road goes
    Where the day flows
    Only time
