"Garlick maketh a man wynke, drynke, and stynke." - Thomas Nash
"Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good." - Alice May Brock
"Without garlic I simply would not care to live." - Louis Diat
"Shallots are for babies; Onions are for men; garlic is for heroes."

"Vulgarity is the garlic in the salad of life." - Cyril Connolly
"Oh, that miracle clove!
Not only does garlic taste good, it cures baldness and tennis elbow, too."
~Laurie Burrows Grad
 I wish it cured baldness.
Maybe if I rubbed it on my head twice a day.
"The air of Provence was particularly perfumed
by the refined essence of this mystically attractive bulb."

I went on a mini vacation to the beach.
Fort Walton Beach to be more specific.

I met three friends there.
Jesse-awesome kid!!!
photographer, writer, mom extraordinaire
and Jeremy
breadwinner, woodsman, outstanding father
It is always inspiring to shoot with another photographer.
Especially one that brings her own models.

Donuts come in black and white

I went shopping with friends the other day
Jesse is already catching the consumer bug
We all need a break to regroup now and then
This little penguin is taking his break
by the ice dispenser.
What a great way to stay cool!
Some flying friends met me at the laundromat.
It was just me and them.
These last two shots are from the industrial park in Sylacauga AL.

I used to have a few goats when I lived on the farm.
They were smart and entertaining.
The best thing about them was their ability to clear brush.
