MNOR HQ for the last two days

Posted on 8:43 PM by jr cline | 1 comments

This is where I stayed the last two nights on the road trip.

     This is my room.

I thought the hair dryer in a bad was fun.

Burchfield's Restaurant is located inside the hotel.

At breakfast I enjoyed having juice out of these pretty blue goblets.

This is the building covering the indoor section of the heated indoor/outdoor pool.

I enjoyed staying here.

MNOR Day 4

Posted on 8:27 PM by jr cline | 0 comments

Zoom Zoom Zoom.....
It was on to the secret city today.  I left Nashville around 10 this morning.

I missed my turn and turned around in this hospital parking lot.

The next time I stopped was in a rest area.

There were great animal footprints in the concrete base

for this awesome sundial.

Finally, I arrived at my destination, Starr's studio/home.

I visited there for a while and then checked in to the Doubletree Hotel

MNOR Day 2

Posted on 7:24 PM by jr cline | 1 comments

The day started out cold. brrrr After a while things warmed up and I got out and took a few pictures.

    I've visited this location before.

The urban decay is even more apparent now.

Someone had painted over most the graffiti.

This last picture is the hallway in the hotel where I am staying.

MNOR Day 1

Posted on 7:09 PM by jr cline | 0 comments

I had a pleasant drive to Memphis in a new Chevy Spark.

The tag applied for tag blew off and I had to spot in Tupelo to get another.
At a rest area in Mississippi I saw a collection of metal sculptures.  Here are a few pictures.

The collection was called 'The Garden'.

Slit-scan app part 2

Posted on 7:14 PM by jr cline | 1 comments

These are the day light pictures I said I would take in the first Slit-scan app blog.  I wasn't endangering my life driving and taking pictures.  Christy was driving when I took these.

Slit-scan 1

I wasn't able to upload these directly to blogger so they may load slower than usual.

Slit-scan 2

All of these were taken in landscape orientation.
