Railroad Park

A couple of weekends ago, I went with the Birmingham Photo group to Railroad Park.

We met up at 9 am.

It was clear and cold and we were all bundled up.

In warmer weather there are a lot of people sitting around these tables.

The round roofed building is the railroad terminal.

I should have taken a photo of the gentleman running this little hotdog stand.
He was a very friendly and his face had a lot of character.

There were several play areas for children

of all ages.

Someone neglected to pick up their breakfast and after tools when they left.
There are a lot of homeless people in this area.
The park has 24 hours surveillance (video and audio)
and 24 hour security patrols.

All around it was a fun day.
